Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge becomes Royal Patron of EACH

5th-Jan

Grange Shipping are proud to support East Anglia's Children's Hospices and we're pleased to hear their good news for 2012! The following extract is from their website http://www.each.org.uk

EACH is honoured and extremely proud to announce that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has accepted the honorary position of Royal Patron of EACH.

The announcement, which recognises the work we do both locally and nationally, is welcomed by staff, volunteers and the children, young people and families we support.

The Duchess’s first patronages reflect Her Royal Highness’s personal interests in the arts, the promotion of outdoor activity, and most relevant to EACH - offering support to people of all ages, especially young children.

Graham Butland, EACH Chief Executive:

"EACH is honoured and extremely proud to have The Duchess of Cambridge as Royal Patron.

Having our work recognised in this way is not only a tribute to our staff and supporters, but a huge boost for the children, young people and families receiving our care and support.

The Duchess’s support will help us increase the awareness and understanding of the full range of services we offer children and families, and really celebrates the great work being done by all children’s hospices across the UK.

We are also very excited to be one of only a select number of organisations to be invited to join The Princes' Forum, which brings together the charitable interests of The Duchess, The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, and look forward to the many opportunities that will bring."
