Lorry crash shuts Ipswich A14 for almost 24 hours

Our customers should expect delays on deliveries from the Port of Felixstowe today after a lorry crash shut part of the westbound carriageway of the A14 for almost 24 hours.

We send the drivers involved our best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.

From the BBC news website:
A crash involving three lorries on Wednesday afternoon has closed the A14 in Suffolk for almost 24 hours.

Police say the road will not open until later on Thursday after the crash at the Seven Hills roundabout at Nacton.

Motorists travelling west on the road are warned of delays because of diversions in place around Ipswich.

Two men were trapped in separate vehicles and taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening, police said.
